Almond Flour Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 3 flax eggs (3 tbsp flax + 5 tbsp water)

  • 4 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 2 tsp vanilla

  • 1/2 cup cacao

  • 1/2 cup almond flour

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 cup plant milk

  • 2 tbsp chocolate protein powder

Instructions:

  • preheat oven to 350 degrees,

  • make flax egg and let sit for 5 min. once congealed, add maple syrup, peanut butter, and vanilla. stir until combined.

  • add cacao, almond flour, and baking powder and lightly fold in/stir (over mixing will cause brownies to be especially dense).. add almond milk as mixture starts to thicken. lastly, add protein powder and stir.

  • bake for 30-35min or until top slightly cracks and feels relatively firm.
